Implementing this in their project they prepared ‘self-watering Terrariums’ and noted their observations. They learnt about water buoyancy and experimented floating and sinking objects in water. In their daily class routine, they kept a record of sunny, cloudy, rainy, and snowy days in their notebooks. During the Science, Math and Art Integration week, they enjoyed observing the flow of water from one beaker to another in science lab (colour chromatography), optical inversion of image in water. The month of November was filled with experiments related to Water. Social ScienceStudents learnt about the important inventions in the field of communication. To build a street light, they used DC motor and LED to show the conversion. Activity 5: Maker Session (Smart City Challenge - D1) In this session, students recalled all the previous sessions and stated the energy conservation law. They were introduced to the problem statement of building a smart city based on their previous knowledge and energy transformation. They designed a 2D sketch of that smart city with few essential components in their model like building, park, windmill, solar panels, street lights etc. in the worksheet.
